Moving Away From Campus? Donate Your Extra Belongings

The Badger Reclaim Project is a collaboration with UW-Madison and Mad City Moving to help students that are moving avoid wasting extra belongings. If you have furniture other belongings you won’t need anymore, the Badger Reclaim project will help find new students or other community members that will take your usable items.

How it works?

  • During Move-out,  the Badger Reclaim project will have drop boxes at select residence halls for students that are moving out to donate their usable belongings.
  • During Summer: UW-Madison financial aid office will offer the items to students in need.
  • During move-in: Mad City Moving will deliver items claimed during the move-in process.

If you find a price lower then ours, we will match a legitimate competitor’s hourly rate with a few stipulations:

  1. Must be licensed, insured and a verifiable business within Wisconsin
  2. A copy of a written estimate provided to us to verify rate
